In the three months since fast post and standard post were introduced on June 7, fast post volumes have more than doubled over the old airmail volumes. “There has also been a steady improvement in
delivery standards,” the chief general manager of the letter post division, Mr Garry Wilson, said. “The most recent network performance testing shows that 96.5 per cent of letters sent by fast post are delivered on time the next working day.
