Colts outplay Maoris
The speedy left wing threequarter, Jordan Scott, ran in five tries as Canterbury Colts convincingly beat the Canterbury Maoris rugby team, 4710, at Rugby Park on Saturday.
The Colts side led 15-6 at half-time. In the end the Colts scored eight tries to the Maoris two in a game in which the ball
was constantly moved out wide.
The Maoris scored through a first half try by the second five-eighths, Ron Rhodes, converted by Adrian Boyd, and a powerful forward try by Tahau Williams in the second spell. Canterbury Colts will next play Wellington Colts in Wellington on Wednesday.
