The week of August 2127 opened with the second half of Network Two’s 48-hour music week-end, of which the highest-ranking programme was “The Prince’s Trust ’BB Rock Gala.” It was rated the forty-sixth most popular programme over all and proved to be especially well liked by women aged 20 to 39, who had a viewing audience of 27 per cent

A new series of “Sledge Hammer” began and the gun-slinging cop rated fifteenth, with an over-all audience of 23 per cent. It proved most appealing to teenagers and males aged 20 to 39. The home-grown documentary programme “Wild South” is continuing its popularity, being this week’s twelfth most popular programme with an audience of 23 per cent. It has particularly high viewing audiences with both men and women aged more than 40.
