I’m not one to gossip but... Ryan O’Neal has just about had it with his wayward son, Griffin. The 24-year-old rebel, who’s had enough run-ins with cops to open his own Hollywood Police Department, now has four warrants out for his arrest. And, to make matters worse, he’s allegedly been posing as his lookalike kid brother, Patrick, whenever he gets in trouble. Ryan, aged . 47, has just about given up, on him.

Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise are clashing on the Las Vegas set of “Rain Man.” Dustin doesn’t consider casual Tom to be a serious actor. On one take Tom got fed up after re-doing a scene 10 times, but perfectionist Dustin blasted back: “We’re actors and we’re paid to do it right, even if it takes us 100 times!”

The biggest advertising agency in the world, “Leo Burnett,” is secretly trying to woo Lisa Marie Presley and her mum, Priscilla, to do a product endorsement, most likely for cosmetics. So far the answer has been a firm no.

Cloris Leachman never seems to age; in fact every time I see her she looks younger. I recently found out that several times a week Cloris travels about 90km to Laurel Canyon to have a non-surgical face-lift. It’s based on a very low-level electrical current which has been quietly used by physical therapists, acupuncturists, M.D.S and other health professionals to treat pain and most injuries. Recently medical doctors, acupuncturists, cosmetologists and physical therapists report they are seeing a growing number of clients, including more than a few Hollywood stars both male and female. . I hear that Dinah Shore is grieving the loss of Burt Reynolds to Loni Anderson. A source told me, “It’s sad that Dinah found love with Burt when she was 58 years old; she was too old even then to give Burt the children he so desperately wanted.” I hear that was the major reason they broke up back in 1975. By the way Burt is 52, Dinah is 71 and Loni is 41. Recently Dinah said on a TV chat show: “I should never have allowed my age to break us up. But I was taught that the woman never pursued the man. I can see now how wrong I was.” Dinah was married once to Western movie star George'Montgomery and has two children by that marriage.

Jackie Bisset and Alexander Godunov may have recently called it quits after living together for the past six years. Friends say they could see the end coming for the tumultuous twosome, who have living together in a ’45-year-old California beach house. By the way Jackie is 45 and Alexander recently turned 38.

The ghost of the late Karen Carpenter is said to be haunting the set of the movie about her life. A friend of mine who’s working on the movie set told me that the cast and crew have been unnerved by the eerie happenings and bizarre coincidences that have been occurring on the set during recent filming. If you ask me it sounds like a good story for extra P.R. for when the movie breaks... but my lips are sealed.
