Canty Expo drive
Canterbury will this month get special prominence at the World Expo ’BB in Brisbane.
The Canterbury Promotion Council and Aorangi Public Relations Association will join forces to promote the two regions in the New Zealand Pavilion from September 15 to September 30.
Large, coloured photographs of Mount Cook and punting on the Avon River will be featured and about 10,000 copies of a Christchurch and Canterbury holiday book will be distributed with an Aorangi publication.
The staff will wear distinctive red-and-black Canterbury uniforms, complete with straw boaters.
Expo passports will be stamped with a special Canterbury holiday message as a reminder of a future holiday destination.
