Peters invited to speak
The member of Parliament for Tauranga, Mr Winston Peters, will address students at the Christchurch Clinical School of Medicine later this month. Students at the school chose Mr Peters to deliver their inaugural president’s lecture on September 15. A spokesman for the
students’ executive, Mr David Sidebotham, said that Mr Peters’ ability to generate animated discussion and his willingness to be outspoken on social issues had created a high level of interest among students and staff. The topic of Mr Peters’ address remained a secret, said Mr SidebothaiQ,
