Fire deliberately lit
Damage in a deliberately lit fire at a Phillipstown joinery factory on Tuesday night amounted to about $20,000, according to the police. The damage was largely confined to a stack of timber, against which the arsonist had placed a tyre and set it alight. The blaze, at J. Hooper, Ltd, was reported soon after 11 p.m.
