Burglar took case
A man seen leaving a house in Field Terrace, Riccarton, on Monday afternoon, is believed responsible for a burglary at the address, the police said.
The cleanshaven European man was carrying a brown suitcase — one of several items taken in the burglary between 9 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. The burglar got in through the front door and stole the suitcase, a walkman, video recorder and four video cassettes. The man sought was aged about 20, of thin build with mousey hair. He was about 173 cm (sft Bin) tall and wore dark track pants and a jersey.
