PA Wellington The member of Parliament for Sydenham, Mr Jim Anderton, criticised the Government’s asset sales programme yesterday when addressing 500 striking Government Printing Office workers. Mr Anderton’s brief speech at Parliament was greeted by cheering but there were calls of “Prebble out” and “Douglas out” from the workers. Mr Anderton questioned the two main reasons for asset sales — increased financial efficiency and reduced debt.
