Wanted: teachers
Television New Zealand is hunting for extrovert school teachers to take part in a series of educational programmes next year. The new series, called “Ten Out Of Ten,” will be a chance for students to phone in questions to a panel of teachers, who will answer them on the spot. It will be a live programme based in Christchurch and fronted by Rodney Bryant who also will co-produce the show along with lan Cummings. He said they were desperately seeking teachers who were entertaining and knowledgeable across several subject areas. Although the programme would be live, questions would be screened so teachers could request appropriate props.
