Levin plant to close
PA Levin Another blow to Levin’s clothing industry came yesterday with the announcement that the manufacturing division of Clubman Apparel, Ltd, will be relocated and 21 staff laid off.
From August 19, all manufacturing by the company will be done at a plant in Blenheim. The closing of the Levin factory, which produced Bob Charles shirts, was caused by several factors including the current economic climate, said the managing director, Mr Robin Johannink.
