Woman charged with murder
PA Auckland A second person has been charged with murder almost nine months after the South Auckland police arrested a man following the fatal stabbing of James Russell Ryan at Papakura late last year. Michelle Nehupo Ryan, aged 22, a beneficiary, appeared briefly in the District Court at Papakura charged, with James William Graham, with the
murder of her estranged husband on November 9 last year. She was remanded in custody for a depositions hearing on August 8. Graham was to stand trial in the High Court at Auckland on Monday for murder but the hearing was postponed because of developments. James Ryan’s body was found with stab wounds in Red Hill Park, Papakura, on November 9. Graham was arrested hours later.
