Town Planning Town Planning Raparua I County Council TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1977 PAPARUA COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME APPROVED SCHEME CHANGE No. 7 SCHEME CHANGE No. 7 to the District Scheme which extended the Recreation 3 zone in the McLeans Island-West Melton area and the range of permitted uses in the zone, was approved by Council by resolution at its meeting on the 4th day of July, 1988, after all objections to the Change and its variation had been disposed of. Papaua B County Council TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1977 PAPARUA COUNTY DISTRICT PLANNING SCHEME PROPOSED CHANGE No. 12: SUBDIVISION (1) EXPLANATION In order to clarify an ambiguity in the district scheme ordinances in respect to the control of rural subdivisions, it has become clear that a minor amendment is needed to the code, or ordinances. This change will not alter the subdivision criteria, nor will it make the obtaining of any consent more difficult than in the past. The purpose of this scheme change is simply to provide clarification of the current provisions. (2) AMENDMENTS TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES Part I — Introduction (p 57 Delete Clause 2— “General Obligation to Comply” and replace with the following clause: “2. General Obligation to Comply Subject to the provisions of the Act and all Regulations thereunder and to any modification or dispensation granted in terms of any provision to that effect in this code, no person or body shall carry out any use development or subdivision of land otherwise than in conformity with the provisions of this Scheme.” The Change can be inspected at the offices of the Paparua County Council, 149 Main South Road, during office hours. Forms for submissions and objections (Form C) are available at the Council offices. Submissions and objections to the Change may be made by any body or person affected or representing some relevant aspect of the public interest. Submissions and objections shall be in writing on Form C prescribed in the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1978, or to the like effect, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council not later than 4 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 1988. At a later date every submission and objection will be open for public inspection and any body or person who wishes to support or oppose any submission or objection will be entitled to do so.
