Plans changed
Rongonui has had a change of plans and is not now likely to run in the Paparua Handicap on the first day of the Canterbury Jockey Club’s Grand National meeting on August 6.
The grey is likely to have two runs in the north before coming south
with the $15,000 Sheriff Handicap at Avondale, on the evening of August 6, a likely lead-up. The changes mean that Brian Hibberd will not now be coming south for the first day of the Grand National meeting but for the second and third days on August 10 and August 13.
