William Edmund Foster. — Halswell School, which is to celebrate its 125th anniversary next Easter, seeks further information on Mr Foster, who was headmaster from 1879 to 1901. Information to Glyn Strange, P.O. Box 37-061, Halswell.
Miles family. — Jocelyn A. Taylor (9 Cranbrook Place, Glendowie, Auckland), seeks information on the descendants of William and Mary Miles and Thomas and Ellen Miles. The four left England on April 14, 1876, on the ship Camperdown and arrived in New Zealand on July 3, 1876.
