Turner rejoins Gisborne
PA Gisborne The former All White, Grant Turner, is to rejoin Gisborne City , in the national soccer league. The Gisborne City player coach, Colin Walker, said yesterday that agreement had been reached with Turner who had bought out his contract with Wellington. Turner is coming to Gisborne, where he says he and his family will live, and will play in Sunday’s match against Christchurch. Earlier this season Turner withdrew from the Wellington team saying that ah ankle injury had ended his career. Walker said he had been assured by Turner that the ankle injury had healed.
