Staff training
Kirk Motors puts much emphasis on staff training. It has purposely kept a low profile since arriving in Christchurch in March to make sure that the staff are fully attuned to the Kirk Motors’ philosophy. “We have spent the last three months getting the premises right, the stock right and all our systems in line as well as finalising staff training,” said the branch manager of Kirk Motors, Mr Wayne Robertson. “I spend a good percentage of my day moving
about the showrooms talking to customers and staff making sure that the philosophies that we are expounding are being followed. It also means I keep in close touch with the marketplace.” The three months . of fine tuning and staff training comes to fruition this evening with an official opening which will be attended by the managing director of Mitsubishi Motors, Mr Denford McDonald, the general manager of Kirk Motors, Mr Bruce Martin, the general manager (vehicle
marketing), Mitsubishi Motors, Mr Murray McCaw. Tomorrow will see the fruition of the very successful “Kirk’s Cashback” campaign which has been running for the last month with the draw for the all expenses paid trip to Dunk Island on the Australian Gold Coast. All members of the public are invited and it is an ideal opportunity for them to see the dealership and find out what “You can count on Kirk’s people” really means.
