Amnesiac woman flies home
PA Nelson An American woman found suffering from amnesia and hypothermia in a sheep-pen at Lower Moutere on May 7 has returned to the United States with her parents. Amna Kasanjan, aged
23, of San Francisco, was discharged from Nelson Hospital’s intensive-care unit last Friday after spending almost two weeks in the unit. The police tried to interview Ms Kasanjan several times in hospital, but
she was too tired to answer questions. Detective Sergeant Roy Powell, of the Nelson C. 1.8., said the police were reasonably satisfied from the evidence available that Ms Kasanjan was not assaulted
