The city from the air
Airfoto, a division \ of the recently established New Zealand Photocqrp, Ltd, produces a selection of attractive calendars each year.
The aerial photographs are taken from recent additions to their colour library. The first calendar of Christchurch views was produced for 1987. 1 j' J. I'
I A new calendar of Christchurch views is being prepared for 1989 and will be on sale after August. The cover will feature an unusual view of Banks Peninsula and
the inside has some [interesting pictures of the city arid its surrounds. !| These include Taylors Mistake, Q.E. II Park and the. 1987 Canterbury A. & P. Royal Show. [ | 'j As well as the calendars, Airfoto has produced a set of placemats featuring aerial views of Christchurch. i; .
I| Mr Bob Cammock, the manager of Airfoto, says that there is a demand for large framed [colour photographs from the calendars.
|; These are printed to a high standard by The Darkroom, another divi-
sion of Photocorp. Photocorp also ' has its; own facilities [ 'for framing, mounting : and making texturised finishes. j
