PA [. ! Wellington , The New Zealand Stock Exchange yesterday announced 1 the appointment of the first two non-mem-bers to [['the exchange’s council and ! executive. The appointees are Mr Norman) Johnston and Mr Jim Valentine. Mr Johnston is the chairman of law firm Bell Gully Buddle Weir, a memberl .of the Securities Commission, chairman ■ of NZI Corp., chairman of Magnum.; Corp. . and a director j of several other listed companies. Mr Valentine is immediate [ past New Zealand chairman of international | accounting firm, Deloitte Haskins and Sells,
