! Sir, —I have been appalled lately at the number of ( unrestrained children I have (seen (travelling in cars. In) New Brighton last week I saw a baby travelling on the lap of a frontseat passenger and an empty • seat in the back of (the car! No, I Jam not a busybody, but; the mother of two: toddlers, and it makes me mad to see parents j risking their children’s lives like this.’ Car seats can be rented (very cheaply in Christchurcri blit, ( whatever the i cost; ( you cannot put a price on) a child’s life.) — iYours; etc., ’ '!!- U. .. ) i !
