Sole P.O. at Easter
New Brighton Post will be the only post office open during Easter. New Brighton Post will be open during its usual hours, from 8.30! a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on Saturday, April 2. All other post offices in Christchurch will be closed from Friday, April 1, until: Tuesday April 5.
There will be neither urban nor rural deliveries during Easter. Sorting mail into private ( boxes at the Postal' Centre in Hereford Street will: continue for up to four hours each day and the ( clearing (of street and inner-city posting boxes will be done once on Sunday and Monday.
All Christchurch post offices will be closed and urban and rural postal deliveries suspended bn Anzac Day, Monday, April 25. Mail will be sorted iiito private boxes at the Postal Centre in Hereford Street. Posting boxes throughout Christchurjch will be cleared at 7 a.m.
