City Indoor Bowls Club produced | good early season form to win the first event of the year, the Brian Stewart (open singles, by beating Trevor Thompson (Papahui W.NI.C) 15-3 on Sunday. Thompson was unable to maintain his excellent draw bowlingl from earlier rounds in the final, and! appeared to have trouble mastering the mat. I | | • | ! The semi-finals’ were both close- games.
