Christchurch’s newest art gallery 1 takes its name from its two founders.; ' • ' I’[ The Jonathan ; Jensen Gallery is I run by Jonathan 'Smart, an art teacher, and Andrew Jensen, a physical education instructor.
The gallery, at! 160 High Street; aims to feature contemporary New Zealand art Its opening exhibition is “10 Dancing Women,” by a Christchurch painter, Linda James. The gallery will focus on young artists.- , ; J
It will be open from ! Wednesday to Saturday j each week. Its hours will [ be a.m. to 6 p.m. lon ) weekdays and until 2 i p.m. dn Saturdays. Linda James’ exhibition will run until April 9. : ) : :| | ■
