Note allays fears for hunters
Blenheim reporter The pressure on Marlborough’s Search and Rescue organisation was relieved al little yesterday morning when an alert for three overdue hunters in the Mount Patriarch-Star-Hill area of the Richmond Range was cancelled. The men, Messrs Alex Gregory,' Shane Conroy and Alistair Neil, of Blen-
heim. were due out of the area on Wednesday morning. Residents i yesterday morning found a note in the hunters’ car at the Goulter River ' road end saying they intended to stay longer than originally thought. All are experienced hunters, well I equipped and familiar I with the area.
