Acquittal of officer
PA Auckland A naval lieutenantcommander was yesterday acquitted by a courtmartial of charges that resulted from the disappearance of $23,000 from the frigate Canterbury in 1986-87. Brian Wayne. Chambers faced five charges, as supply officer, relating to failure to supervise the. canteen manager on board.
