Beazley Homes offers an example of a strong national company structure providing consumers with the benefit of versatility combined with expertise. Since January 1, 1988, Beazley Homes have; been located at their new South Island base at McLeans Island Road, Christchurch. The company is involved in all types of home building, offering clients a comprehensive range of buying and building options. Their parent company, Fletcher Residential, Ltd, are the largest home builders in New Zealand, building a total of 1500 homes in 1987. Of this total Beazley Homes are responsible for 950 houses.
In addition to being open for enquiries during normal working hours during week-days, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., they are also open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on week-ends. It is company policy to employ salespersons who have had experience of the building trade. These sales consultants will also meet clients after hours by arrangement.
| The company that currently has 14 thriving North Island branches has undergone an intensive transformation since becoming a part of Fletcher Residential, Ltd, in 1973. Originally it was a franchise building company run by Mr Barry Beazley. After, the purchase of
the company by Fletcher Residential the company focus shifted to the North Island for the next six years. A blend of versatility of design and finance combined with an emphasis on excellence of service and product quality has assured Beazley Homes of success with the public. The local manager of Beazley Homes is Mr Bill Goodin.
According to Bill Goodin Beazley Homes are, “the one stop concept applied to housing.” “We are the experts and can do the whole job, i‘We can do everything the small builder can do and offer excellent prices at all stages through our bulk buying facilities.”
