Dobbyn tour plans
Plans are under way for a tour by Dave Dobbyn and his new band in May, including a performance in Christchurch. Benny Levin, of Concert Promotions, said that two sets of dates were being considered. Dobbyn has a new album, “Loyal,” due out in New Zealand and Australia on March 21, with a single, “Love You Like I should.” • The Koko Taylor tour has been postponed after the “Queen of the Blues” and her band were involved in a vehicle accident in South Carolina. Taylor was meant to play in the Christchurch Town Hall on Wednesday but this has been changed to August 15. Meanwhile, Roy Buchanan, the American blues guitarist, will play at the Carlton Hotel tomorrow evening.
