Youth found in alley
A ! youth, aged 16, was found lying in a pool of blood outside the Lyttelton j Hotel on Monday evening. He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital where his condition yesterday was described as satisfactory.
Detective SeniorSergeant Dave Whitford
said that the victim, who lives in Lyttelton, had been drinking most of the day in the hotel. He was found about 9.30 p.m. lying in an alleyway alongside the hotel.
A man appeared in the District Court yesterday charged with assault with intent to "injure. '
