PA | ' i Auckland The police say a couple returned to their Auckland home last evening to find ' burglars had put their two kittens in a hot oven.
The 10-week-old female kittens were placed in the oven, and the heat turned to maximum after the thieves ransacked the house.
Both kittens escaped,! however, through a tiny gap in the oven door. Their paws; were burned raw and their fur singed. Barry and Debbie Dakers, of Mangere, said they were shocked. “Burglars can take our things but when they start doing this to animals it is disgusting,”] said Mrs; Dakers.
