Situations Vacant Situations Vacant INFORMATION OFFICER (FARMS) LINCOLN COLLEGE AN EXCITING POSITION 1; available at Lincoln College for a person to co lect and disseminate information on the Lincol'i College farms. The position offers an opportunity to become closely associated with three diverse intensive farming units close to the Collge cam jus. The farms are the Mixed Cropping, Dairy Farm and Ashley Dene. Duties will include colli ction of performance data, feed budgeting, preparation of gross margin, maintenance of visual displays, pasture production recordings and presentatior of information in a form suitable for use by staff and students. Special skills required ai e: (1) A basic understanding of farming systems. (2) Some experience in agronomy and/or field technology. (3) The ability to write clear and well constructed reports. (4) Experience with micio computers would be ‘ an advantage. This is a half time appointment and will be for two years in the first instance.
