Schools closed
Primary schoolteachers at schools in the Yaldhurst electorate will be on strike today in protest at the State Sector Bill. The same schools will be affected on March 22. Schools in the Yaldhurst electorate are: Avonhead, Branston Intermediate, Gilberthorpe, Hornby, Kendal, Merrin, Our Lady of Victories, Riccarton, Russley, Sockburn, South Hornby, St Bernadettes, Westburn.
