Film Society
The Canterbury Film Society will begin its general screenings at the Sociology Theatrette, University of Canterbury, tomorrow at 7.30 p.m., with a showing of “Sherman’s March,” an entertaining documentary panorama of the American South as seen by the director-pro-ducer, Ross McElwee. All Tuesday screenings will be held at the university, while Thursday sessions will be held at a new city site at the Youth Centre, 111 Worcester Street (the old Cinerama).
