Accident witnesses sought
The Lyttelton police seek witnesses to, a mjotor accident between Rapaki and Cass Baylyesterday at 7 p.m. j A man who was driving a brown Holden; towards Lyttelton was forced to swerve to avoid an oncoming car that was passing another vehicle. In swerving the Holden hit, a bank and tolled on to its roof, causing extensive head injuries to the driver. ( I The drivers ofithe other two cars did!not. !stop. The driver of the Holden was taken to I Christchurch Hospital last evening and is ; reported ! to in a stable condition.!'
The Lyttelton police want to speak to anyone who saw the ! accident. Witnesses are asked to telephone the ( Lyttelton Police Statibn as soon as possible. | !
