Leadership skill earns position

A young man, well known in church groups for his keen youth leadership was recently appointed as a full-time diocesan youth co-ordina-tor, by the Anglican Diocese of Christchurch. Mr Tim Mora, aged 24. has been a bible class leader at Stephen’s, Shirley, for the last two years. He became .interested in working with teen-agers through his participation in a Youth for Christ group. While leading the St

Stephen's youth group he took part in youth leadership training. He said there were still areas in youth ministry where he had a lot to learn and he was glad to be part of the task force of the Diocesan Youth Council, which was promoting youth ministry in the Church.

The appointment of a full-time diocesan co-ordi-nator was suggested by a gathering of diocesan young people in 1 April, 1985.
