Greenback impressive
NZPA Sydney New Zealand’s boom two-year-old. Greenback, completed an impressive final trial yesterday before making his Australian debut in the Skyline Stakes (1200 m at Sydney’s Canterbury racecourse today. The son of McGinty galloped at Rosehill with stablemate Mr Investor, which runs in today’s Vain Welter Handicap (1550 m Working off i 1200 metres, with McGinty’s former regular jockey, Bob Vance,!riding Green-
back and Mark De Montfort on Mr Investor, Greenback recorded 35.6 s for the last 600 m. Trainer Colin Jillings was unavailable for comment, but Sydney Turf Club officials said Jillings was pleased with the gallop and everything was in j order for Greenback.
