TV deal for rugby

Television New Zealand has sneaked in ahead of TV3 to secure exclusive rights to rugby coverage for three years. The agreement was finalised between the New Zealand Rugby Union and TVNZ yesterday and was announced jointly by the chairman of the commercial committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union, Mr Ron Don, and the director-general of TVNZ, Mr Julian Mounter. The deal includes live coverage of all test matches during the next three years.
