Lab. to close
The Kodak photographic processing laboratory in Christchurch will close by May 27, with the loss of seven jobs. Kodak’s Auckland laboratory is being enlarged, and all photo-finishing by the firm for New Zealand will be done there from June 1. Twenty employees will be hired. The Wellington processing laboratory will close by March 31, with the loss of 26 jobs.
