BANKS PENINSULA DOG CONTROL AND HYDATID AUTHORITY DOG REGISTRATION AND HYDATID CONTROL FEES 1988/89 PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the Dog Control and Hydatids Act 1982, the Banks Peninsula Dog Control and Hydatid Authority (comprising the Walrewa, Akaroa and Mt Herbert Counties) has fixed the following fees for each and every dog, 3 months of age or over within the district of the Authority, for the period April 1, 1988 to March 31, 1989. FEES PAYABLE ARE AS FOLLOWS—DOG CONTROL FEE: $42.90 per dog covering the registration and hydatids control Is due and payable on April 1, 1988. ADDITIONAL FEE: $lB per dog where registration Is effected after May 20, 1988, and the dog was required to be registered on April 1, 1988. COLLARS: A tag to attach to the existing collar will be supplied or a new collar can be supplied at an additional cost. If the disc or tag Is lost a replacement may be obtained. NOTE: Goods and Service tax has been Included in the fees. Dogs are not considered to have been registered until the full fee as applicable has been paid. CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP: The previous owner and the new owner shall each within 14 days notify the Council Office in writing of a change of ownership and the residential address of the new owner. Death or loss of a dog must also be notified. TRANSFER OF DOG: Where dogs registered in one district are transferred to the district of another local authority, the owner is required to notify the Council office in each district within 14 days of the new address at which the dog Is to be kept. A new disc shall be issued free by the authority into which the dog Is transferred. REGISTRATION FORMS: Are available at County Offices of Walrewa, Mt Herbert and Akaroa. • PAYMENT: Payment of fees will be accepted at the Office of the County in which the dogs reside, and cheques should be made payable to that County Council.
