The appointee will be responsible for these critical functions: business planning; finance, accounting, insurance and auditing; legal and secretarial; administration, I including contracts and supply; personnel and industrial relation policies and computing services. A team of senior managers will be in charge of these functions and report to the position. Particular emphasis in the role, will be the putting in place of policies to grow a profitable business; enhance efficiency gains and continue reforms to complete a major transition phase. The location is in the capital city of Wellington. REQUIREMENTS: • Strong line management skills and a proven record of successful leadership. » Ability to initiate and implement strategic plans and policies. • Proven performance in the management of change, preferably in a large, diverse and complex organisation. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Evidence of high level tertiary educational attainments and preferably an appropriate professional qualification.
