PostBank
Sir,—The full-page advertisement by Postßank (February 15)
was as superb a demonstration of cynicism as I have ever seen. Why does Postßank bother to attempt to persuade the public that its philosophy is that “there’s more to life than money” when its very actions up and down the country have conclusively proved otherwise? Why has Postßank stopped the banking services at Little River Post Office, amongst many others? Why does it not believe its own philosophy (if we are to believe the advertisement) and attempt to serve some of oUr country dwellers? Or is there a cost' involved that it can not possibly accept? Postßank should demonstrate that it believes “there’s more to life than money.” — Yours, etc., PAT and CHARLIE CHALLENGER. February 15, 1988.
