Court refuses bail
PA Auckland The former Paremoremo inmate, Dean Wickliffe, was yesterday refused bail when he appeared in Auckland District Court on charges of armed robbery and possessing a semi-auto-matic rifle. Mr Christopher Harder, counsel for Dean Hugh Tikahu William Wickliffe, aged 39, had asked that his client be released on bail. Wickliffe faces charges of robbing Debra Roscoe, a shop assistant at a Mt Smart video shop, of $3500 while armed with a. shotgun on December 7 and unlawfully being in possession of a cut-down .22 calibre semi-automatic rifle on December 15. Judge Callander remanded Wickliffe in custody on both charges
