WHITTA, Thora Mary Clara — On January 28, 1988 (suddenly). at Christchurch, dearly loved wife of the late Gordon Edwin Groves Whitta, loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Glenys ( Australia), Christine and Rick Montgomery (Ashburton), and Paul and Ann-Marie, loved nana of Barton and Corinnea, and Melissa and Neal, loved daughter of Dorie and the late Bob Prebble, loved sister and sister-in-law of Phyl and the late Herb Brady, and Ted and Colleen Prebble, loved sister-in-law of Trevor and the late Rose, Jack (Australia), and Frank and Kathy (Auckland), and a loved aunt of her nieces and nephews; in her 65th year.
