Travel by rail
Sir, —It is most enjoyable to read the excellent articles by Roy Sinclair promoting rail travel. Overseas, railways experiencing increases in passenger numbers are introducing new rolling stock to meet the need. The scenic value offered on various rail routes throughout New Zealand is unique and Roy Sinclair has given readers an opportunity to study the merits of rail travel. — Yours, etc., L. J. MAY. 2l, 1988.
