Shorthand/Typing. As for Typing/Clerical course, PLUS Pitman 2000 Shorthand. (4-5 hours per day). 3. Secretarial. As for Typing/Clerical course, PLUS Pitman New Era (classic system) Shorthand. (4-6 hours per day). These three courses are registered under Section 186 A of the Education Act 1964. PART-TIME courses. 1. Typewriting. Choice of weekday mornings, evenings, Saturdays. All levels taught in small, streamed classes, beginners to very advanced; modern electronic typewriters (7 different brands). 2. Word Processing. Individual or shared tuition, times to-suit; 2 different brands (Adler and Xerox). Part-Time and Full-Time students are prepared for Pitman Institute and Trades Certification Board (T.C.8.) examinations.
