Lacklustre athletics meet
Few startling performances were recorded at the interclub track and field meeting at Queen Elizabeth II park last evening. Even with the windless and warm conditions, few athletes turned up. Many athletes would have been at the grand prix meeting in Wanganui or saving themselves for the meeting in Hastings on Saturday. Some of the results were: Senior men’s shot put: C.
