Sandy Hines continues good form
The Christchurch yachtswoman, Sandy Hines, continued her good form of the year when she won the third race of the Canterbury Zephyr championships at Mount Pleasant last Sunday. Hines, who recently won the women’s title for the fifth
consecutive time at Tamaki, in Auckland, led from the bottom mark of the first triangle, and went on to win by 58sec from Bill Beere, and Paul Stemmer third. Beere holds the over-all championship by three points from Hines with eight points.
