Crown refuses challenge
PA Auckland Crown Corporation’s managing director, Mr John Hunn, has refused to take up the gauntlet thrown down by brokers Hendry Hay Mclntosh about the ownership of 83 million Rada Corporation shares. On TnwrlAv Hendrv
Nominees issued a statement challenging Crown to ask the High Court to rule on the dispute. “Hendry Nominees is not obliged to purchase the shares in question and has no liability in the matter,” the statement said. Crown’s manaeina
director, Mr Hunn, is on record as saying Hendry Nominees has an unconditional agreement to purchase the shares, which were to be sold on the Australian sharemarket. But now he says he didn’t really expect Hendry Nominees to react differently.
