TNT boost
TNT said it has bested its holding in Cumberland Credit Corporation to 19.99 per cent, the maximum allowed before a takeover bid must be launched. TNT said it now had 39.99 M ordinary shares in Cumberland, from 32.29 M or 16.14 per cent previously. The Sydney-based transport group has gradually lifted its holding in Cumberland since Larry Adler's FAI Insurances sold its 19.9 per cent stake to the Coronet Equities N.Z., Ltd, group for 100 c a share.
