‘Don’t sell’
Cruise Corp has issued a "don’t sell" notice. Directors told the Stock Exchange that talks were being held “involving a significant acquisition and resultant change in major shareholdings.” Further details would be announced as soon as possible, they said. DFC approval DFC New Zealand has been cleared by the Commerce Commission to take its shareholding in Venture Pacific Ltd up to 100 per cent. Clearance The Commerce Commission has cleared private company Inspectorate International to acquire up to 100 per cent of Omnicorp Investments. Omnicorp, which has expanded into the leisure industry with Chase Corp as a major shareholder, last week reported a profit of $15.9 million for the seven months ended October 31. Hold XS Palmerston North-based XS Corp, operators of radio station 2XS, have issued a “don’t sell notice” to shareholders. Directors told the Stock Exchange that “discussions are presently taking place with a third party and we expect to have some further statement in two weeks.”
